According to Rotten Tomatoes, events in Peninsula begin four years after the zombie epidemic in Busan by train. The Korean peninsula was devastated by the zombie epidemic. And Jung-seok, a former soldier, has managed to escape overseas, and is assigned with a mission to return to the zombie-infected place again. Once, he suddenly meets the survivors.

This trailer shows itself snippets of the plot completely, a world full of zombies is seen in this film. And the residents there try to escape. Their only rule is to survive, the trailer reads.
