Once Upon a Time in Hollywood Review
Once Upon a Time in Hollywood

Dear filmmaker Quentin Tarantino proves once again with his new film that he is a cinema artist. With his latest film, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, Tarantino shows a constant love for film and all things filmmaking, but he also has a great maturity in his vision as a director.

The Storyline - Actor Rick Dalton achieved fame and fortune by starring in 1950s Television Western, but is now struggling to find meaningful work in a Hollywood that he no longer recognizes. He spends most of his time drinking and walking around with Cliff Booth, his best friend and a long stunt double. Rick also lives next door to Roman Polanski and Sharon Tate - filmmaker and budding actress whose future will forever be replaced by members of the Manson family.

The trio of Rick, Cliff and Sharon - like most of Quentin's work, the film is replete with amazing performances. The films with the three main characters are particularly relevant to the previous statement. First, Leonardo DiCaprio played the struggling actor Rick Dalton in a dying Hollywood. DiCaprio plays the role of Dalton in a very sympathetic light. After playing countless minor roles and cameos Rick wants to make a lot of headlines, but never seems to make it.

Next we have Brad Pitt, in which this reviewer will pen as one of his best performances as Cliff Booth. Booth is Rick's stuntman, who takes great care of Dalton throughout. Mitt gives a really strong performance as Pitt Cliff, making him feel like an all-American man with a good John Wayne who gets spruced up for good measure.

Than, enters the controversial figure, Sharon Tete portrayed by Margot Robbie. Representing not only the beauty of the late actress, but her true innocence as a person, Robbie gives a subtle but genuinely outstanding performance, one that Tate's family was genuinely proud to see. She is truly amazing and brings the actress to life.

A Collection of Cool Cats in Hollywood - Not only Once Upon a Time has three great central performances, but a brilliant ensemble of Veteran actors and actresses from different aspects of time and Hollywood acting. Al Pacino, Kurt Russell, Timothy Oleo, Michele Madsen, Bruce Dern, all these and many more have made the old world of Hollywood once upon a time. It is truly amazing to see this much talent at a time.

A love for Hollywood - Quentin Tarantino's love affair with Hollywood has been evident from the beginning. A love for everything is Tarantino's past time. The entire film is with iconic imagination and recounts Hollywood's past. Whether it is a well-known face and a classic cliche, it is always clear in the world that he crafts and that is what makes this a truly magical experience, especially for those who love movies and filmmaking.

Bring a little wine - Once in Hollywood is one of Quentin Tarantino's best films for a time and has nothing to do with a resume, but with excellent films saying a lot. A true love letter to the Golden Age of Hollywood, Once Upon a Smoothly moves through the world. Lit by dazzling neon lights and a blot with timed characters that feel like real people, this is a truly mature effort by the film's already established autobiography. I'm happy to say that Quinton Tarantino's Once Upon a Time in the Year is one of the best films in Hollywood.
